MUSICAL THEATRE MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION (FEB)
TUESDAYS 5:15-7:30
$95/Month Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb
Additional MANDATORY Saturday Rehearsals
($450 total cost- includes costumes and free tickets to our shows always)
This is a high-commitment class - full of singing, dancing, and acting! The class will end with a full musical performance in late February. Each student is expected to attend all classes (no more than 2 absences for illness or travel). Attendance requirements will be strictly enforced - please make sure your child is able to make this commitment. In addition to Tuesday class times, every student is required to attend Saturday Show rehearsals (9AM-3PM) leading up to the show. Students must be 8 years old by August 18th. Taught by Misti Roberts, Haylie Summers, Lauren Kolmetz, Jennifer Austin, Regina Smith, and Suzanne Roberts.
Theatre is very much a team sport. Every member of the ensemble is needed and important!! Auditions are required for everyone, regardless of whether or not you would like a speaking role. Auditions help us place you vocally and physically in parts of the ensemble for which you are most well suited. All students enrolled will receive a detailed audition letter describing how to prepare for the audition.
Musical Theatre Explorers
AGE 5-8
Thursdays 3:30-4:00

This class will cover musical theatre basics and play theatre games, perform class skits, learn basic theatre dance skills, and songs. Parent watch day performance at the end of November. NO READING SKILLS REQUIRED. Taught by Faith Wirrick & Frankie Durham.

TECH TEAM
INV TECH TEAM- audition interview required
Tuesdays 5:00-7:00 as needed; Oct - May

Students learn the importance of technical theatre and explore the use of such elements as costumes, props, and scenery. Students practice writing for the theatre and explore various theatre roles and functions. They will explore the elements of art and design for various theatre roles such as scenery, lights, sounds, etc. This class will create and execute the technical aspects of our Frozen show with the supervision of our creative team. Interviews will be conducted for leadership/teams at the first rehearsal/class. You will be needed the entire week of Tech Week (and every performance) but possibly not needed at every rehearsal. Taught by Haylie Summers.
